Updates from the Studio

Paint, Paint, Paint

It took me a little while to find my groove. Ideas had been simmering for a long time but pushed to the back of my mind as life got in the way; knee surgery, moving to Tennessee, building a new studio, getting has been a busy few months.

I sometimes I think that hiatuses are a bit like reading a great book that you have to put down and come back to later. The longer you wait the more the flow of the storyline and details become fuzzy. You have to back up and then pick up from where you left off. You can't just skip forward. If you are not there participating the story does not move forward.

That said sometimes I just need time to step back. Breathe and let my ideas settle before I make the next move. I think this was one of those times...
